Chief Minister Of Delhi To Hold Meetings With Farmers Based On Land Pooling Policy

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister, Mr. Arvind Kejriwal will be holding the series of meetings with the Farmers for the Land Pooling Policy (LPP). Land Pooling Policy has been recently notified by AAP Government and Gopal Rai, Labour Minister states that first meeting of Delhi Chief Minister will be held on May 25, 2017 in the places Matiala and Najafgarh. Constituencies will be covering the substantial rural areas to make the appropriate decision based on the Land Pooling Policy.

With 20 to 25 lakh of housing units comes with the urbanized villages in next 5 to 10 years. Chief Minister would be interacting directly with the farmers in Matiala and Najafgarh on May 25 constituencies. Mr Rai, AAP’s Delhi convener states that Delhi Chief Minister, Mr. Arvind Kejriwal will interact with the farmers in the Narela as well as many other areas.

Recently, the Kejriwal Government declared more than 89 villages based on the Urban areas and it would easily help authorities to develop the infrastructure projects on localities. Government Agencies is ready to develop the infrastructure such as roads, community centres, schools, hospitals, stadium on parts of the pooled land as well as ready to return a portion of plot to farmer to execute the housing projects based on the private builders.

More than 20 to 25 lakh has been spent on the housing units in these urbanised villages for the next 5 to 10 years so that it would ensure the properties available at the most reasonable price.

Land Pooling Policy has the main feature with housing projects can easily developed on returned agricultural land by the builders. Building the housing units based on the agricultural land of 89 villages is also not allowed by LPP.
